ther are a few diy projects on the net for making a digital 5x7 or 8x10 out of a scanner, but my objective here was to have a large format camera for old time processes (tintypes)and others

Very nice!

I made a pleated bellows many years ago before the internet, had to figure it out myself... so I have respect for your efforts!

Will you be making your own plates too?

this is a 12x12 camera
made from 2 box frames
and one old copier lens
and a 8x10 to 5x7 back (ebay) its made so I can switch backs on it to a 8x10
the bellows is hand made by me, with black cloth and black weighted paper
all I need to add is a shutter...
