These red 650 nM diodes seem to work very well when
Compared to a hene, 25mw free running !

So... diode or hene lasers for holography ?

by thycore » Tue Nov 13, 2018 5:17 pm

As any young holographer I struggle to get my hands on a decent set of laser tubes/heads/power supplies..
It all cost a lot, is heavy and takes a lot of space.

How is the diode stuff going on ? Any chance that diode lasers would finally match performances of hene in terms of stability, cohérence length and pricing ?
