Standing inside the structure looking out at the rest of the Holiday GLOW experience at Allerton Park further psychedelicizes the Christmas tree lights entwining the tree trunks.

Sunlight passing through the structure focuses rainbows on the grass.

The HOE tiles image the light bulbs and Xenon as a swirling pattern of colors floating inside and outside the geodesic dome.

Here is John wiring up his Xenon sculpture of concentric circles, which symbolize the frozen light waves of a hologram, not unlike the interference pattern of a ripple tank. One incandescent bulb is below the rings, like a pebble that has broken through the surface of the electromagnetic pond, and the one poised over his head is on its way down. Notice his clever touch of varying the diameter of the tubes with their distance from the center of the sculpture.

The SPECTRAL IGLOO

Here is a photograph taken by my unindicted co-conspirator, John E. Bannon, of yours truly photographing our collaborative installation, the Spectral Igloo, installed in Allerton Park, Monticello, Illinois. We covered all 102 triangles of a Garden Igloo Model V2 with Holographic Optical Embellishments, which were made to function as both lenses and prisms simultaneously. I would normally have cropped myself out of the picture, but I left me in to show the scale of the thing, 2.2 meters tall and 4 in diameter.
