I like mold coating smaller plates , check this youtube
I made a while back, be sure to not force dry, set the plates to sit level and allow to dry for an hour or two.

spin/veil coating, you need to dry the film off. You control the thickness by concentration of the gelatin. If I set the spin speed the same, only the viscosity or gelatin/water ratio determine the thickness?

In Mold coating, when do you dry the film? and how do you control the thickness? Or do you perform the same dry step after release?

I wonder how much does the thickness shrink after it drys?

Which method gives you best consistency of film?
