Re: Looking for photopolymer films

I recently saw a post on r/holography of a hologram made with the Covestro Bayfol HX200 photopolymer: https://www.reddit.com/r/Holography/comments/1233f72/trying_out_bayfol_hx_200_photopolymer/ One of the most vivid holograms I've seen, much less for a photopolymer. Manufacturer website: https://sol...

Re: polymer

Just got my sample polymer from Geola. has anyone tried it yet and what is the processes for using it. any info? :P You need to peel the backing off the film and laminate it onto a piece of glass. Discard the clear plastic backing. The darker, thicker film is the polymer. Use an ink roller or somet...

Re: 457nm laser

$2850 for a 10mW 457nm laser is not that great of a deal. Equivalent to a 30mW cyan laser system which you could get for under $1k.

Re: student looking for laser

Hello, I am a student and recently started learning about holography. I am looking for a reasonably priced laser for DCG and silver halide. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know. Thank you! I have several blue (488nm) Coherent Sapphire laser heads for sale. I have three brand new Coherent...

Re: Decent cheap timed shutter?

I'm planning to build one with a sail servo (i'm using laser diodes without collimating lenses, so beam is quite big) and arduino or ESP8266 microcontroller (so it could be activated remotely). Actually, any servo will go if you want to block just collimated beam, so shutter would be very small. Fi...

SOLD ---- Coherent Compass 532-200 | 250mW+ | 33% Reserve Current

This is a dream laser for holography, as the the unidirectional ring cavity forces SLM operation with a coherence length exceeding 150 meters! This laser is a marvel of engineering. You'll be hard pressed to find another laser operating at such an ultranarrow linewidth for this price. I measured the...
