Re: Homemade Plates
The light source is the laser when I tried to shoot the hologram. After I took them out of the aluminum bag, while the RGB Led light was on (green). They looked clear. This fogging appeared after all the steps to develop the plate. Perhaps my plates are too old?. I will make a new batch of plates an...

Re: Homemade Plates
Already did the disk test and the reflected safe light from my LED bulb on the surface of the disk (DVD is also ok right?) shows other colors. I can see blue and red, although they are not as strong as the reflected light when the LED has the white option selected. I thought something more dramatic ...

Re: Homemade Plates
I'm sorry for not answering sooner, but I completely forgot about this post. I saw your updated instructions and unfortunately my AgNO3 isn't 5ppm. So I left it in a glass bottle inside the fridge as recommended and when using it with a syringe I will only take from the surface. Recently I have been...

Re: where to find lasers for holography
I'm new in the Holograph world but i agree with jrburns47 ... ask user 142laser or look at his ebay store. Totally recommended!! he even shipped my laser to Japan. Theres no better person to ask about lasers than him.

Re: Homemade Plates
Hello Mr. Jeff. I should have known something was off with the first gelatin as it was extremely brittle to the point that trying to bend it would cause it to "explode" and send pieces flying everywhere, but my only experience with gelatin at that point was just eating it. The new one is v...

Re: Homemade Plates

Re: Homemade Plates
Perhaps... but the bottle doesn't mention anything else like a preservative. I just says how to properly handle it, hazards and stuff like that. The bottle doesn't mention it but the purity of this Reagent is 99% with an average molar mass of 92.09. There is another Glycerol from the same manufactur...

Re: Homemade Plates
Hello again. I finally bought all the chemicals listed in the link provided by Martin for Mr. Jeff's method, but I'm already having issues. First, I decided to make 200ml of stock solution so I used 24gr of gelatin leaf (Japanese brand of 220~240 bloom approx.) I placed the 24gr of gelatin leaf in 2...
