Digital Hologram
Hey all, What type of camera do people usually use to record holograms digitally? I have 3 requirements: Smaller than 5 um pixel pitch. Bigger than 0.5 inches diagonal. Also, preferably without a cover plate. The cover plates add newton rings and moire patterns. This might not be necessary. I need t...

Re: Alternative photopolymer film
I want over 98% transparency. I get 92% right now. How do you measure transparency, Tekosh? If it is just power after the photopolymer / power in front of, I doubt you can get over about 92% due to Fresnel reflections -- you lose about 4% at both air-photopolymer boundaries. I don't think you can g...

Re: Alternative photopolymer film
The problem with Covestro is that it's not transparent enough.

Alternative photopolymer film
Hey all,
I am aware of Covestro and Zilux films.
But are there any alternative films I can use?
I am looking for the same type of photopolymers that needs no crazy post-processing steps.

Re: compact RGB collimated unit
I actually have that one. I made the laser driver myself. It has two problems. The polarization for green is different than Red and Blue, so I will need to add a waveplate to the green which is a challenge given the super small space. Also, the lasers are not very well aligned and in order to expand...

compact RGB collimated unit
Hi All, I don't know if this is the right thread for my question. I'm looking for a compact RGB collimated unit which outputs a 1-inch, aligned, collimated beam. I haven't been able to find an appropriate one. The lasers don't need to be super coherent, laser diodes work just fine. Do you guys have ...

One Job Opening in the holography field
Hi, my fellow holographers, Is there someone here looking for a job in holography? Requirements: MS or BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Optics AT least 5 years experience with holograms. Someone who knows the literature of holography and knows how to make them if provided with the right equip...
