Re: Looking for spatial filters
This lens type would for sure expand the beam, but would it also clean the N1+ order harmonics of the laser ? I sorta read it’s best to have a clean airy disk to work with my set up to have better resolution & more uniform exposure ?

Fixing or desensitizing ultra-fine grains emulsion ?
I’m reading this astonishing book from H.I Bjelkhagen about silver-halides processing and I came to chapter 4 where it is discussed possibility to somehow fix or de-sensitize a developped hologram. Fixing with thiosulfate, Or Desensitizing with Phenosafranine In my quest of producing reflection holo...

Ultimate U08 / Bleach : reversal or rehalogenating ?
Hey folks, In my quest of understanding emulsion shrinkage (ie. when it does happen in my process). I came to an interesting reading here : https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/media-arts-and-sciences/mas-450-holographic-imaging-spring-2003/readings/holochemistry.pdf bleach.jpg Question, anyone know what kin...

This poor drawing of mine represents my current understanding of the chemistry and over-time phenomena : bleach_not_bleached.png There are 2 assumptions that I might have misconception about : - Isn't light supposed to bounce off the deeper layers of the emulsion to reconstructs the virtual image ? ...
