Re: I see the shadow of my plate !

I can't manage to get one my camera sucks :), I read meanwhile on the forum that it's perfectly normal, I just have to orientate my glass plate accordingly with polarisation to have the light passing through instead of partially reflect (which causes the shadow)

I see the shadow of my plate !

Hey, i never noticed before ( maybe because I was not successful at making crystal clear holograms yet ), now I see my holoplate’s shadow ( in the hologram )! Of course it’s on the side and I have to « slope » my plate to see it, is there any way to avoid this phenomena ?

On this photo we can see a microscope objective off-ray any use in this setup ? Also what is this glass-mirror-whatever box in the beam on the right ?

Thanks for sharing, this should become a good habit every body share his/her setup xD

Anyone knows Lasos LGK 7626-F ?

Hey, I tried to find information about a laser, but the « F » suffix I have no clue what it is ? Also, is this 1meter long laser suitable for holography ?

Re: So... Which black paint for backing ?

Good news I tested acetone-solvant based spray black paint on a test holo and it turned out quite successful :-)

A vidéo or my test :

Re: So... Which black paint for backing ?

Hi,

The self adhesive vinyl foil is nice but I have micro air bubbles trapped despite being very meticulous, any special technique or vacuum-based lamination process ?

I was looking for paint because my lamination process somehow is not satisfying xD

Thanks for your input :-)

So... Which black paint for backing ?

Which is the best black paint spray to use for Hologram backing ? I’m working with silverhalides.

Acetone-based ?
Water-based ?
Other ?

Re: Is brightness a function of exposure time ?

This Part A + Part B seems going nice on the shelf, no coloration or whatsoever, however, my Part A shows some nice cristallisation xD :

On the picture, I have already disturbed it a bit, when left un-moved, it constructs some nice "snow-flakes-like" assemblages.
