There was a great thread about using the C*s*o diodes on the old forum. Lot's of good information on there. Let's hope the archive is safe and it reappears in the not too distant future.

Hi all

Saw this...

It's a seemingly nice replacement for HeCd's with great coherence length. I guess the price, as always, will be the killer though.

What configuration did you use to make this Hologram?, Is it a 'standard' Denisyuk type single beam reflection hologram?

Wow!, that's brilliant news. I used to try looking at the Russian forum, but the online translators had a hard time pulling anything meaningful out of the vast majority of the posts. Thanks to Colin, Ahmet and Gall, it's great that the two communities are coming together. Hopefully a few more people...

I guess any forum that gets access to, and publishes, all the posts from the original Holographyforum.org will be the ultimate winner in the popularity stakes. I figure that will ultimately be Colin's decision...

Hi Guys (and gals?) Thanks for setting something up so quickly Ahmet, I was missing the daily read :D. Colin, thank you sooo much for being at the front line for all these years with the 'original' holography forum, and for all the hard work and effort you put in, it was so sad it had to end the way...
