Re: RGB tests with HX200 photopolymer

First, I do it in a dedicaterd area that's kept clean. I use an anti-static airgun (pictured below) to blow the dust off the glass plate first. That keeps dust from being attracted to the surface. Then I use a small laminator I got and modified 20+ years ago to put the film down. Finally, I trim wi...

Ruby double-pulse fun

Me playing with my JK HLS2 ruby on an old Agfa 8E75 plate.
Next I wish to transfer it while reducing the image size with a lens between H1/H2.
From what I read this greatly reduces the perceived depth of field?

No idea.
Here they laminate on 1mm glass: http://geola.com/product/photopolymer/

Re: RGB tests with HX200 photopolymer

Thanks.
I have used 2 and 3mm 4x5" plates (recycled from Agfa and Ultimate Agx).
1/4" sounds very thick, I wonder what makes it work better with thicker plates

RGB tests with HX200 photopolymer

Denisyuk setup, three wavelengths (640, 532, 457), 3mins exposure or so.
Proper lamination on glass is difficult. Tips welcome :)

Re: Questions about Osram PB530 laser

I have a spatial filter, but have issues aligning the two lasers correctly, let alone getting the filter aligned properly with one or both. It will be the next step though. Steep learning curve ;) Aligning three beams into a single spatial filter requires perfect co-linearity AND matched divergence...

Thank you @Ramunas. The spec look similar, do you anticipate any difference in usage, specs, etc?

Re: Questions about Osram PB530 laser

That could come from the lens you are using.
In any case a spatial filter is a good investment in holography :)
