I am here as well.
Quite new to this forum I mostly use it to search for info on older posts.
As for the cooling of my lasers I took a custom water-cooled approach

Re: Introductions
Hello W,
I like your blog very much!
Is it a SM optical fiber I see in one of your lab’s pics? I am thinking of testing PM fiber to couple and deliver RGB light to my setup for full color holography tests

Re: Poor man's spectrometer
Thank you for those interesting links. Did you find that grating-based spectrometer had enough finesse to check longitudinal modes of lasers? There’s an interesting blog on the topic and demonstrating SFPI: http://hololaser.kwaoo.me/laser/SFPI.html and more details/theory here: http://www.repairfaq....

Poor man's spectrometer
Clever and cheap spectrometer setup here (although probably more fun than useful re. accuracy):

Re: [Presentation] Loic74
Thx Phil, interesting info about the plasma emissions.
I will study a bit the topic of color gamut and best wavelengths and power choices for true color holography before I settle on a red laser

Hey folks, not sure this is the right place to introduce myself but couldn't find a dedicated spot on the forum. So I am new to this forum but not to holography which I discovered almost 30 years ago. In my career I initially worked with Holography for industrial applications with CW (2W Argon) and ...

Re: Acoustic holography
Acoustic holography does actually exist, I worked with such a setup at Peugeot Research Center in Paris some years ago. While you need a reference beam in optical holography in order to record the phase of the object beam, there is no such need in acoustic holography since an array of microphones ar...
