Re: Troubleshooting : emulsion peeling off

Can we really « not » bleach a hologram ??
I thought light would not penetrate the braggs structure and would not play back as 3d image ?

Re: Troubleshooting : emulsion peeling off

I got confirmation by manufacturer it was a problem during coating ( the prepared & cleaned glass waited too long before coating ) : ultimate holography

A new batch is coming in replacement, m. Gentet was really quick and helpful in his support :)

I’ll try GP2 to compare the difference with D19

Troubleshooting : emulsion peeling off

Hi guys ! Over the last 3 years I continued my learning of holography & related stuff, today, I encountered an issue for the first time ever, it seems the emulsion is pealing off the glass right after first soaking in developer : IMG_4391.JPG Any idea what's wrong ? is my developer too much conc...

Re: Improve depth & viewing angle on reflection holograms

Basically any white background and surrounding neige ngs stuff would do ?

What’s the mechanic ? We increase object beam intensity for lateral parts of it ?

Improve depth & viewing angle on reflection holograms

Hi there ! I'd like to improve my Denisyuk set up from this : Fig_07.jpg fig1 To something like this : Fig_06.jpg fig2 My belief is the 2nd set-up here would allow deeper scenes to be recorded without the hazzle of going through a master H1 then H1/H2 process. (at least my readings on this page http...

Re: Crowd-fund & share your passion

These are simple reflection deniyusuk holograms :-) No transmission / master here I used : Plates from Yves Gentet’s Ultimate U08M with R Sensitivity and 70nm preshift ( makes the developed hologram yellow-green instead of red) Laser is a Hene uniphase 1125 which I believe to be something like 5-6 m...

Re: Which chemistry for "HOLOFILM 250 PAR" from Applied Holographics PLC ?

Hey ! I just realized an obvious and cruel truth. I won't be able to record satisfying holograms on this HOLO 250 PAR film with my HeNe laser ! The Holo film is designed to be sensitive in the very narrow area of 694nm (meant to be used with pulsed ruby) where my HeNe is most likely around 632nm : w...

Crowd-fund & share your passion

Hey ! When I was trying to find money to buy a a new power supply for a laser, it came to my mind that I never tried crowd-funding before. Guess what, I gave it a try : https://fr.ulule.com/holographie-laser/ And... it worked ! I reached my initial goal in like 2 days ! This campaign is aimed at fre...
