Understanding transmission holograms and HOEs/gratings
I'm trying to understand the difference between the setups for transmission holograms and diffraction gratings. I've yet to make a successful transmission hologram so far, using an extremely simply single beam setup. (See attachment). Attempting to play it back with a laser gave me nothing, but when...

I'm glad that had a happy ending.
Might wanna change the topic title to avoid causing panic though.

Re: Two of the same laser instead of beam splitter?
Yeah, I'm waiting now for a power supply to get started using these diodes you sent me! I guess I'll just have to come up with some other use for the integraf diodes. I guess they're probably good for playback of red transmission holograms.

Re: Two of the same laser instead of beam splitter?
Good to know, thank you! That's about the answer I expected, but I'm grateful to have it confirmed without wasting any plates.

Two of the same laser instead of beam splitter?
Happy holidays! I got a surprise christmas present from my wonderful sister: the exact same integraf holography kit that I started out with  It's great to have more plates and developing formula, but I'm a bit curious about the lasers. I understand that for two beam setups it's important to hav...

Re: Time between exposure and development?
These are great answers, thank you both for your help! I guess while I'm at it, I had one more question regarding storing exposed plates. I understand that it's best to keep unexposed plates in the fridge and take them on the morning of the day of exposure, but does that apply to exposed but undevel...

Time between exposure and development?
Does the time between exposure and development of a hologram affect its overall brightness/image quality? I don't live by myself, and usually am very restricted on time on top of that. I think that if I were able to use one day to expose holograms and then develop on another (or even just make a ser...

Re: RGB laser engine , with wired drivers
You have been incredibly helpful, and this looks perfect for the next step for a beginner. I'm gonna go place an order on one of these now, thank you so much! EDIT: - I didn't see where to enter options/instructions in the paypal order form, so I also sent an email with my phone number for delivery ...

Re: RGB laser engine , with wired drivers
Hello! I'm still an absolute beginner, so please excuse these very elememtary questions. Around how big of a hologram can this make? Coherency lifespan? Do you have the specs of the individual lasers? I want to upgrade from the one I have from just the integraf kit and this seems almost too good to ...
