Graham Saxby

From BBC News: Graham Saxby died in March. Graham Saxby did much to champion the science of holography, often in the teeth of opposition from the photographic establishment. The technique of 3D imaging was first developed in the 1940s but it took the arrival of lasers to advance the process. Saxby b...

My latest Denisyuk DCG

Super super! Congratulations!! Have you any idea about the thickness of emulsion? I think you can control the blue haze with the size of voids inside the hologram due the scattering. I found similar optimum, thickness for these bright holograms 15 um in photopolymer Darol emulsions. It is necessary ...

Lunar Surface hologram

"A Lippman does not capture phase information, it "captures" the image in a set of nodes and anti-nodes." So a Lippmann photograph will never "offer" any multidimensional image. But in the case of E(01) does not equal E(02), in a Lippmann photograph that is recorded wit...

Issues with developing

Thank you for the clarification.

Could you give me a contact to discuss the Sphere-S HP-C availability for our professional mastering system?
We may use in pulsed regime RGB.

Kind Regards,

Interactive photopolymer?

Yes, seems a typical Bayer photopolymer full colour hologram. They cut exactly on Iphone5 format and apply the polyurethane emulsion sticker onto glass. The film adheres well (PU) but the cleaning of gorilla glass surface is typical CRITICAL. Nothing new here if you get access to Bayer photopolymer...

Lamp + hologram

Hi Valery,

I did buy one! For me Dollars please! I need it. ;)

I paid $17 by Paypal system but no problem,

Do you think the brightness of this is superior than the Polaroid holograms?

Thanks,

Sergio.

RGB LED

For sure some lamp in the marketing, maybe in US, will deliver a power light with correct alignment. I think the blue lamp line tends to the ~475 nm and the reply SHSG was made on 458 nm(?). I plan on the photopolymer 473 nm thinking in a future compatibility and better visualization at this blue wa...

Concentrator Optics for Solar Panel

Depend on the plastc binder of photopolymer and base, this is very well studyied in Industry. Also the monomer that is polymerized need to be heat and UV resistent, for the hologram itself, we may put 50+ years of volume hologram durability.. I would use a thin photopolymer layer into the cell, perh...
