Thanks Danny
I will give it a try.
I am guessing a thin slice with a razor blade will do the trick.
Good to hear from you

Diffuser Question
Greetings all So happy to see the old forum back I have a question regarding diffusers and lasers. I have a red laser pointer I use to illuminate a transmission hologram I bought recently. But the pointer has dust boogers and some rings. When illuminating the hologram it's a bit distracting. I've tr...

Do these diffusers effect the coherence of the laser diode beam? In other words do the depth of the object in the hologram blur as a result of diffused light?
Thanks

Plagiarism
I've often wondered about this and would like input from others. If I shoot a hologram of a sculpture that may or may copy righted is that plagiarism or infringement? Say an extreme case, a Mickey Mouse figure, I make a hologram of it, I imagine that is copyright infringement. What if I chop Mickey'...

Glycerin as index matching fluid
I am considering trying an index matching fluid between my DCG plate (non coated side) and a resin block. I know glycerin can be used as index matching fluid Glycerine: 1.473 Glass =1.52 Resin + 1.5 to 1.6 Real expensive optical index fluid = 1.8 Question is glycerin OK enough to use? Is there a che...

PCG Gathering
I also want to extend thanks to Dinesh and Joy for a very enjoyable weekend. It was great to meet people from the forum and visit with old friends. The lab time was great and much better than the 3rd world lab I use. I learned some nice tricks that I can't wait to try out. Look forward to next time!...
