Re: How Do I Make A "Holographic Video" that I can play on iPhone?

Sorry. You are in the wrong forum. This forum is dealing with holography, a physical principle for recording 3D images, based on the interference of light waves. Your thing hasn't to do anything with holography, neither with 3D. It is only a half translucent mirror which reflects the light of the sc...

Re: Isolation Table materials

hi I also use inner tubes, but it is no problem if they go flat, as I have extended the valve with a hose. So i removed the original valve, added the hose, guided it through a hole in the base plate, and added a new valve on the other end of the hose. So after a few weeks the tubes loose air and get...

Re: greg cherry hologram circa 1987

Oh, that's a pitty! As holograms consist of gelatins, no only sunlight can destroy a hologram. Also temperature and especially humidity can cause problems. If it is stored in a humid surrounding, the gelatin can grow and the image vanishes, as the Bragg planes are growing, too. Therefore the hologra...

It's about 19x24 cm (8x10") and on film. Bright.

Don't know the company. Maybe Laza or Richmond?

Re: Some Holograms for sale or trade

Anyone interested in this one: bicycle.jpg It's a bicycle on a mirror. Parts of the bicycle can be seen in the mirror. It's about 26x36 cm (about 10x14"), It's a heavy, sealed double glass plate, and I assume (but not really sure) that it is a DCG. Made by a german company, I think. Please send...

Reuse of Pyrogallol developer

Hi,
How long can I use a Pyrogallol developer ?
I have two solutions ,
Pyrogallol in water and sodium carbonate in water.

How long can I store both solutions?

If I mix both together for development, how long can I use it for development?
Only one hologram , or a few hours?
Any experiences?
Thanks

Re: Exposure time

Hm. Ok so I exposed 100 sec, and it was far too less, to get a reasonable density with three minutes development. With 360 secs, I got a better density, but still not d=2 in three minutes. So,what's wrong with my calculation? It seems that 1000s would heave been the better choice!? Have I misunderst...

microscope objective

I have a spatial filter, which I bought about 10 years ago. I need a new microscope objective for this. How do I determine, if the microscope objective has metric or english thread? Or are there no different threads with microscope objectives, and any fits? I have this one: http://en.opmount.com.tw/...

Re: Exposure time

Am I really? Your calculation doesn't take my measurement of 10 mV at the voltmeter into account, I think. You take 1mv as reference?! That's the missing factor of 10? For measuring beam ratio for white light reflection copy, I measure perpendicular to the reference beam, and parallel to the film fo...
