Re: Buzzing HeNe laser

That’s a brilliant idea xD although i’ll have to find a bag which can trap helium tight enough :-) will try this

Re: Buzzing HeNe laser

Just to close this subject, the problem was the laser required a bit more than its regular 11mA current to keep stable. Lasos GmbH was very kind to provide me with their engineers support to confirm 142laser's diagnosis ;-) unfortunately the standard power supply for this laser cannot have a variab...

Re: Drying silver halides emulsion with alcool ?

Thank you folk so much for your links and explanations :-) I reduced concentration of the flo in my a rincing bath in which (and in all baths) I now agitate my plate emulsion facing down to prevent splinters or particles deposit and had vertical drying ( without hair blower ) and my problem seems so...

Re: Holography Consultation/Installation Job Offer

I assume since december you were told or discovered that the technology you’re referring to is not holography :-) ?

You are looking for a video projector on a transparent screen / sheet of plastic. Reflectogram somehow :-)

Drying silver halides emulsion with alcool ?

Hello everyone !

I’m having difficulties in achieving a uniform drying of my silver halides emulsions ( using kodak flo) i somehow still get some stains/color-shifted zones.

I was considering drying in alcool baths, like for DCG... Anyone tried already ?

So... diode or hene lasers for holography ?

As any young holographer I struggle to get my hands on a decent set of laser tubes/heads/power supplies.. It all cost a lot, is heavy and takes a lot of space. How is the diode stuff going on ? Any chance that diode lasers would finally match performances of hene in terms of stability, cohérence len...

Buzzing HeNe laser

I started up a laser with a fresh new power supply (genuine from manufacturer), and when starting up the laser would emit some light, but buzzing at the same time, like a neon tube which would not fully switch on, it sounds like it "trying". Is it safe to let the tube "warm up" i...

Drying marks

Hello ! I have like an increasing problem of drying marks on my recent holograms, it seems correlated to the amount of flo I'm using in the flo bath, but if I don't add any flo I have marks aswell. Could it be related to "maybe" old chemistry ? I see my developer bath has grown some little...

Re: Laser pico projector for making color holograms

Do you have to maintain 0-vibration during the whole process or does it tolerate a bit of a movement ?
