Re: Osram PL530 530nm laser diodes tested @75mw SLM
Thank you @Soda and @Holomaker, I am surprized a regular diode could not be modulated fast enough for pico-displays. What's more, losing single longitudinal mode would probably be a bonus in case of a pico-projector since they get into large efforts to despeckle the images. But I am probably missing...

Re: Osram PL530 530nm laser diodes tested @75mw SLM
Greetings, Just received my RGB module from Dave and am now reading through the various resources on how to power it up. Anyone knows if this laser will maintain beam characteristics (Power, SLM, coherence length...) if modulated at a few KHz? I'd like to try and use it as a cheap source for my holo...
Re: Skulls!!
No, no, no, no. I need to hear more about this holoprinter you have DIyed. Sure, what would you like to know in particular? It is basically the same technique as developped by Yamaguchi in 1990, then refined by ZEBRA in the late 90s. As seen in the video in my previous post, a 3D rendering software...

Re: GEOLA News_photopolymer Bayfol HX200 already available in small quantities
Some tips for HX200 and its color tunability in the enclosed table below, good luck! Thank you very much Ramunas, could you however detail a bit how to use this info in practice? Are these films which you are supposed to laminate onto the HX200 to achieve the wavelength shift? Before or after the e...

Thanks for those precisions. I found the link to that document, on Ultimate's website: http://shop.ultimate-holography.com/img ... 0color.pdf

Re: First non-terrible color hologram
Am talking about that document attached but somehow I can't find it on their website, I cannot recall where I got it from.
I think you are supposed to balance first the R+G then add a dash of blue... good luck

Re: First non-terrible color hologram
Nice one Tommy. I have not yet tried the 440-660 version of those plates, only the 440-700 with which I have obtained good results with the wavelengths you are using. Yves Gentet told me the red absorbant in the 440-660 version is very strong so you might have to pay attention to the color balance. ...
