Looks good. How did you do the single beam - from above with a space filter or some other device? I've been doing my cave holos with two beams. After seeing your shot I'm thinking of going to one beam too.

Thanks Guys!

John i was thinking about you and this laser, as it runs on batteries for a good while using six 1.5 "D"batteries, making the whole unit quite portable, it's size is really smaller than a 1/2 a loaf of bread.a picture of the actual setup will follow (as soon as i clean things up a bit) Ill have a unit youll be interested in john quite soon.

Ron yes, i was quite suprised how long the coherents was on this unit, as im sure you guys can't see it, but I can see the black corner of my table thats easily 4 feet away

ill be doing a DCG test soon ........... so stay tuned !

in the last shot you can just make out the tiny head (smaller than a penny),being held in place with two screws to the way over kill heat sink

Congratulations Dave for the new breakthrough.

I'm going to discuss here with specialists the new setup of the G-1000 laser since uses a direct IR laser frequency doubling, with a cavity providing SLM mode, very nice, I wonder now the arrangement for a 1260 nm FD possible to red or even blue range, have you the info if this unit use it for the white laser emission or rely on a red diode? I also wonder how to get same mode hopping free for image quality on red and blue components that may involve locked modes or SLM.
