John, if I had known about that I would have shown up. I love caves. Don't think people were not interested, some just didn't know.

OK, I'm going to suggest the weekend of 16th - 18th May. Hopefully, this will allow enough time for anyone interested to organamise themselves. Of course, this is mutable. If anyone wants to chime in with other dates, feel free.

Those dates would work for me... let's see if more people commit and I'll try my best to do the same! Thanks, Dinesh

It looks like we have about 6 or 7 now, so it looks like it's on.

The nearest is McClellan-Palomar (CLD) about 20 minutes from us or the lab. But it's a small airport so not a lot of flights get into it, especially from as far away as you are. However, there are flights from LA or San Fran into Palomar, so it's an option to check out. The major airport is San Diego International (SAN). It's about 45 minutes to an hour from us.

Does wife feel like a weekend in San Diego? There are some nice ocean-view restaurants you can go to on Saturday evening and there are plenty of places she can go to nearby during the day. Legoland and Wild Animal Park ( http://www.woofsd.com/Wild-Animal-Park.html ) are about half hour from here.

Thanks Dinesh,
Weekend in San Diego was the selling point.
I look forward to seeing a real holography lab (studio?).

I'm thinking about it. Colin, will you be there? Varie and I would like to see you.
