Patting myself on the back

I learned from working at CFC/Northern Banknote that if you don’t toot your own horn no one else will. Some sharp-eyed viewers of this forum will notice I have been signing off as Career Education Corporation Educator of the Year Finalist. On Tuesday, May 10th, the final decision was made, and I was only a runner up. Still I got a check for a decent chunk of change!

Out of the 5000 teachers in the Career Education Corporation empire, only 16 made it to the Finalist stage. I was one of 4 Finalists in the Instruction category, and the image below is my blurb from the Awards Ceremony program. Hopefully I can ride on this wave of success until I retire!
