It's a joke, Danny, sort of. I remember I once saw a calculation by Carl Sagan (of Cosmos fame) do a calculation on how long the ark would last if it really rained for 40 days and 40 nights fast enough to cover entire mountains. It turned out the ark would have lasted a few hours. So, I got to wondering, just how fast would you have to go to "ascend into heaven".
