Ebay Hologram

Post by Tony DCG »

I'm guessing maybe Bob and a select few would know this.
I saw this hologram on ebay and was wondering what the historical significance was (if any)
I'm not familiar with the artist

I will be looking inside my sofa cushion tonight and see if I have 20k in there, more likely there be crayons and cheerios

Ebay Hologram

Post by Ed Wesly »

That sale had made the rounds of the Facebook page previously. I contacted Dean Randazzo, one of my former graduate students from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago Holography Program, and he had this to say:

"Yes it is definitely c project stuff. Looks terrible in the pictures. Colors have shifted to green, the proofs we worked on where full color with nice whites. I guess the technique is not stable over time. Ha,

Dean"

Funny, Morley's Wikipedia entry doesn't mention these holograms!
