A Water-based DIY photopolymer

For anyone wanting to have a go at making my water-based photopolymer system without having to wait for the ISDH 2009 proceedings to appear, Kaveh has kindly put up my “Methods and Materials” on the web site here:-

With regard to the main carrier polymer PVA, I believe that the Sigma-Aldrich product
360627 would work as an alternative to the Kuraray product I used originally.

32 Euro per 25 g of PVA is a nonsense.

That price is awful Adam, it is even more than double the awful price in the UK Aldrich catalogue.
You could try asking :

I was introduced to him by Hans D. I suppose the ethic behind getting free samples is that you communicate the product's successful new use so that
it increases business for them in the long run.
But obviously there must be limits on such freebies.

nice to read from you again! Thanks for publishing that paper.

As usual, new technologies require new chemicals to be used. I've quickly red your paper on water polymers and I checked my local chemical store, none of the organics you used are available.

Excellent! A new challenging adventure as MBDCG was.

Unfortunally my spare time is very few since last October when my son born.

I hope to post some pictures soon!

Saw the video clip and the holograms do look very very nice. The pva looks like it will a problem to get, but I will try the American supplier for some. Also could diethyltriamine be used instead of dabco( I have that in stock)
