I have some photopolymer holograms and I could not help noticing they were as bright if not brighter than any DCG hologram I have.
I thought DCG was the brightest (DF) of all films. Is this true??
Thanks,
Tony

Depends on what hologram you have, antique Polaroid, Dupont, or recent Dupont or DAI Nippon? These holograms in general has 20um thickness and somewhat narrow broadband so the brightness efficiency may be lower than DCG, Dupont has a method of very broadband (>100nm) manufacture but maybe clients ask for a low bandwidth with 2D-3D models, Polygrama has a liquid photopolymer that emulates exactly the transmission DCG, so the perceived delta n index 0,06 maybe the same for some DCG holograms, visually it is pretty similar.Dutchelm05 wrote:I have some photopolymer holograms and I could not help noticing they were as bright if not brighter than any DCG hologram I have.

One might add broadband photopolymers usually imply some sort of post-processing - liquid or heat.
