trying a new gel/pva mix

when I made a homemade silver plate in pva the grain size was very small. normally when you mix pva and gel it just dosnt mix well and if thers too much pva it becomes cloudy. so i was wondering what about this K-polymer (pva by Kuraray KL-506). so i tried a 100ml with 7grams gel and 2 grams of KL-506. wow its clear and mixes well with gel. Now im wondering if this would be a good mix for homemade silver plates and maybe even DCG?

Definitely looks worth checking out. I'd like to find a silicate/gel blend that (after accelerated fossilization) produced
permanent layered crystalline holograms...
