Instead of AmDi, with a nice blue laser, revisit using sugar free Cherry gelatin with Vanilla.
But seriously, crossling of gelatin happens with deep blue to UV light. So it really may be possible to use a dye that absorbs the blue and add a little real vanilla. Then use light fixing. How cool it would be to make a hologram using no toxic chemicals at all.
