Newbie with a question

Hi everyone. I know absolutely nothing about holography but I am curious as to whether the following is possible at this time.
What i would like to do is take a video, such as a music video or a video of an music artist and project their picture in the form of a 3D holograph and have it be life size. Is this possible? Is the technology currently available to do this? If so, how would I buy it and how much money are we talking about? Thank you all in advance for your help.

It is not the technology that would be hard but the expense. If you had a NASA sized budget it would be possible.
