Is there a "time out" ?

It timed me out again.

Can't you disable the thing that causes it?

If I type something that takes more than a few seconds, it vanishes when I try to post it. It doesn't even show up in the preview.

I am mystified by that. Perhaps your browser has a "security" feature that does not allow forms older than a certain time stamp to be submitted? I am only guessing. I often leave posts open for hours while I find links and upload pictures. Of course I have to run off here and there.
