The end of the cold war.

OK, I got your attention. Our friends at holography.ru have decided to merge with us and have donated all of their previous posts!

HoloM did some clever programming to import their posts from a different software. I have imported the posts. If you want to read them in english you and use http://www.altavista.com/babelfish

It is not the greatest translator but you get the idea of what is being posted. Sergey and Sergey are going to moderate the Russian forum. Please praise HoloM for doing this for us, this is the third time his clever coding has bailed us out.

The forum will be off line intermittently while all of the kinks are worked out. We are going to re-import the Network 54 posts as the phpbb2 format does not agree with phpbb 3. I have to lock the forum while I do that.

Please go to http://www.holography.ru and check out the site, it is very informative, the Lessons are fabulous and they sell very nice holograms as well.

Same here. I would like to add to that: If you are ever in Moscow, take the time to visit Sergey Vorobyov's outstanding gallery. In my view he is one of the best holographers in the world, and a wonderful person. He loves to talk to people about holography and he is one of main the driving forces in Russia to help promote holography and introduce the art to holography hobbyists like us.

Sergey made the portraits of me and my girlfriend. They the prettiest holograms I have (though my girlfriends face looks much more pleasant in life and holography than my old snout). I show them to all the guests that visit us, and always get the same reaction: "Wow, where can I get one like this?"
