I hope they will look like this. As I look at the stripes of photoresist 5-20um wide and 2-4um thick - they are shiny and reflective. So maybe it could work with gelatine stripes alone too.

Aloha,

I'm new to the forum :dance: and new to holography (creation).

As I own a CNC milling machine :clap: , I wonder if anyone has some scratch holos as CAD files (dxf, gcode, 3dm, ...) :pray: .

It would be pretty easy to calculate. What format CAD files do you use?

I'm using Rhino CAD: http://www.rhino3d.com/
It's native format is *.3dm, but any other format will probably also do. It can handle *.dxf (AutoCAD), too.

Edit: The final format for the CNC milling machine is (human readable) G-code: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G-code
