Crown hologram ( video and picture ) shot with JDS Hene laser on Ultimate 08 plate.

Since I am relatively new, may I ask what power the laser, wavelength, model?

Also, is this a "single beam" kind of hologram?

It is a singlebeam reflection hologram shot with a 20mw JDS 1145P polarized HeNe laser ( 633 nm ).

I have one of those too (1145P)...I just need the TIME to get off my butt and start actually making holograms instead of researching how they are made...

Oh, one more thing, how large is the plate?, and how large is the actual crown object?

The plates are from http://www.ultimate-holography.com/
And the size is about 4 by 5 inch ( 10 by 13cm ) the crown is a little bit smaller.

If you are trying to save money, learn to do processing on pfg-01 first as there are many mistakes to be made. When you can make them clean then switch to Ultimate or BB-640. If money is no object then starting with a more expensive plate will shorten the learning curve.
