The cost of work and time depends on many things and individually for each case.
Feel free to contact me, pointing as much information about your project. To evaluate the costs, help links, examples and photos for future portraits.

In CG/3D we can create or combine something which is not possible to photograph in reality. The uniqueness of this portrait is that it creates a virtual, and can be implemented any, even the most improbable ideas, clothing, facial expression, face, age, etc. Against the background can be your video, picture, or created in 3d image. But all this affects the time and expense.

Time of manufacture and the cost depends largely on the quality and quantity of photos. Of great significance are: hair length, the complexity of haircut, presence or length of beard, age, complexity of the clothing, the presence of furs, jewelry and accessories, animation, facial expression, background, only the head or with his hands, a full body or waist..?

Reduce costs - high quality photos with good resolution, with clarity faces a maximum range of field. For example, no good photos with clear eyes or nose, and the rest of his face blurred. More photographed images - the better (profile, front, rear, top, bottom, intermediate angles) Lighting is also important. I'll tell you separately how to make better pictures for such a task. Portrait of Sheikh was created using photographs of poor quality, and this greatly influenced the time of its creation.

Reduce costs also:
adjacent to the head or hidden in a hat hair;
young unwrinkled face;
absence or a minimum of clothing, animations, accessories, jewelry;
the portrait only the head with the shoulders (Sheikh).

About animation, this hologram technology does not clear on fast, long and horizontal motion. Movement in such a portrait should be smooth and slow.

The size of the hologram is also important. There is no point wasting time on details that disappear after printing in a small resolution. Conversely, knowing that the hologram should be large in size, we need to pay attention to the smallest detail and it requires additional time. In this it is important to know initially what the physical size of the hologram or resolution in pixels.

You can ignore all these details, if time and budget you have is not limited.

Is there a portrait shop or something similar to one in Silver Spring, Maryland? That can copy a picture from a piece of paper and draw it onto a canvas? I guess this wouldn't be your average portrait shop but I'm looking for someone to draw/copy a picture from a small paper and turn it into a drawing on a canvas.
