Me too I’m glad to read this too john! with all the advances happening around us, we need all the teamwork we can get! I look forward to dissussions we had had in the early days, when our ideas needed to be tested and everyone could confirm or deny their successes.

pray to God its been a while . . .

but i saw dave's video on youtube and was astonished . . .

good job, dave(!)

are you running the 500mW or 1W version of the casio diode at low power? This may have been answered but I'm way excited (I've already built 4 1W lasers from the A-140 and I never even thought to look into my first love, holography, because of how multimode the beam appears to be.

I see your method of beamshaping . . . clever. But has anyone pushed these diodes to the limit yet in terms of SLM/stability? Is your diode the first you tried/have others done this? (i.e., is it the 405nm semi-crapshoot for stable/SLM all over again?)

Very excited, though. sure to get me into DCG, finally, finally.
