Actually it's not a one man show, but one of my pieces, "The Button" is its politically correct name, or the name my kids christened it, or "The Orgasmatron" as my ex-wife dubbed it, is in a show called "Science in Art".
It is a Jacob's Ladder surrounded by a Plexiglass column with diffraction gratings in it. So when you push the button, you not only see a spark, but it is flanked by a bunch of spectra that travel with it. Plus it makes a satisfying zapping sound.
So it reminded my ex not fo the phallic implications but of the tingle she would get up and down her legs when the big one hit!
