It's a boy!

Hello 3-D friends -

I wanted to happily announce the birth of Gabriel Mark Favalora this Thursday in the early morning. Now Toby, our 2 1/2-year old, is a big brother. Little "Gabe" is doing well, and is still in the sleep-all-the-time phase of being a newborn. Mom is happy and healthy too.

I posted one or two photos on my blog.

Anyhow, we'll be at a hospital in Cambridge, MA for a couple more days. Despite the in-hospital WiFi, I'll probably be silent on my quantitative optical meanderings for a bit!
