I just ordered some Hexcel from Bill and I will need to cut it. I am using 1.375" sheets so I think I can table saw it. Has anyone used a saw to cut hexcel?

Michael and I used a Jig Saw with decent results. I don't see why a table saw would not work. This stuff is really light and relatively easy to cut.

BTW, yesterday I manage to do my first H2 copy using the new table without any film movement using a 4x5 sheet of PFG-01 film. It turned out great so this hexcel material is just great. The new table is A LOT better that my old cinter block one with a lot less weight and a lot more room.

Boeing uses a very high speed 5 axis router to "sculpt" Hexcel in various shapes
for use in composite parts for commercial aircraft..Works for the phenolic as well as aluminum materials.
