in femtosecond pulsed applications. But the Verdi itself does not pulse.
I honestly didn't know that it was continuous I was just trusting my professor who said it pulsed rapidly. I know our laser is a little older (10 years) but I am going to assume that since it is still called the verdi not much has changed with how they are made. Thanks!

Yeah...I seem to be having a problem with that. I was using one on a much smaller diode laser, but with the Verdi I am having trouble getting the beam to be bright enough when it comes through. Any clue as to what I am doing wrong or what I can change?

I got to use a 5 watt Verdi for holography as a guest in a lab.

Spatial filters can be tricky. Try a larger pinhole first.

Ok will do. I don't know how to really change them out but I will figure it out...hopefully.

Sounds like you need someone like me to get things working! See if your professor has a budget for a consultant. PM me c/o of this forum or call me at the number that I had PM'ed you previously.
