Nick Brandreth’s Lippmann Plates

Nick Brandreth is a process photography artist and teacher currently working at the Eastman House museum in Rochester. Obviously he had the skills to translate into Lippmann process but other then that was self taught by reading Hans Bjelkhagens papers.

Wow! These have to be some of the best videos of Lippmann photographs I've seen. They really capture a mysterious feeling about them!

I notice in these videos that the round viewing aperture is also recorded into the image. I wonder if that means that the Lippmann photograph recorded the three dimensional position of the lens used to focus the image onto the plate?
