Good luck on that , sounds like a life time of work! I’ll see if I can get the blue diodes tested tonight...the green laser has plenty of coherence, that was established a while back , this is the red diode at 25mw w 5” of depth...check quick video link below

wow clean and bright, I so want one, just got you green kit hoping to make some test very soon, this is truly brake through, in getting lasers out there with out bankrupting the student that wants to learn holography and also do 2 color at a reasonable price, Go Dave, Go :D

Dave, where are you getting these pico projectors? It seems that they are discontinued. Do most other pico projectors work the same way? (Using lasers)

The version that had ppln laser (green),was only produced
With that laser for two years. Just prior to that was mad technology rush to make that green laser modulate quick enough. Shortly after production the PPLN laser was replaced by the direct green diode. I was lucky enough to secure I number of laser engines before they went into the shredder!

OK WHO WANT ONE ?😃

Ok so I’ve got red and blue diodes up and running, unfortunately I don’t have any decent drivers at the moment and can not adjust outputs easily!

My initial thoughts are to either remove the beam splitter
Located at the beam sampler’s output and allow it to all exit there or replace the Beam splitter w mirror as too much blue Is allowed to exit ( as seen in photo), turns out as I explore, that Last BS is the blue beam combiner 😝, but on the bright side if that if that blue BS is removed I know you’ll be able to shoot RnG holograms ! 👀)”

Shot using Liti film w 2-4 min exposure
2 to 4 minutes seems quite a long exposure isn’t it ? Didn’t you mean 2-4 seconds instead ?

Photopolymer needs a lot of exposure plus a very even
Amount of energy across the plate to come out clear (beam spread), in addition I’m never sure when exposure stops and it finishes developing!

Do you have to maintain 0-vibration during the whole process or does it tolerate a bit of a movement ?

Waiting for new style drivers to arrive, in the mean time I was able to Cluj it together, in the photo below, combined
Reading I’m gettig more than 100mw......
