Joe, did your scanner come with any OCR software? Many do now.

This is the information on "pitting" in DCG, as provided in Rallison's notes. It seems that the .gif files produced via my scanner don't work with adequate resolution on this forum (though they did on the old forum). But .jpeg's do work fine, from my camera.
