Holo-Man 1978 comic

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holo-Man

"Holo-Man is a fictional, American superhero who starred in a 1978[1] single-issue comic book about holography, The Amazing Adventures of Holo-Man, published by Peter Pan Records. Sold with an accompanying 45 rpm read-along record, the comic was one in the company's line of such bundled comic-and-record sets for young children."

Has anyone seen/heard this? I expect it's very bad, but still it would be cool if it inspired someone to get into holography.

Holo-Man 1978 comic

I looked at the wiki description again and apparently it came with a "laser generated holodisc pendant". I wonder what it looked like - was it really a hologram?- and who made it. Some scenes from the comic here: http://my.opera.com/Azaroth/blog/super- ... d=30123172

The "holodisc" pendant only came with the "Holo-Man Adventure Kit". The book includes a 45RPM record. I still haven't got a turntable to listen to my 1963 educational record from Maser Optics, and now i have to find one with 45RPM too! And an adapter. Jeez, remember those? Regarding the pendant though, I'll bet it was produced by Holoco on silver halide film, Nick Phillips' late '70s precursor to Advanced Holographics.
