Blue SLM Laser: Sapphire 480-200

Post by 142laser »

Sam and I have a Coherent Sapphire MP laser with a wavelength of 479.5 nm (~480 nm) and an output power of 25-250 mW. This laser was embedded in a prototype Coherent UV laser as the pump source. The laser has less than 750 hours use and has (by my eyes) a nearly perfect, round TEM 00 beam. The peak to peak noise is so low that my Newport 840 meter cannot measure even 0.01 mW of noise at 200 mW...it reads 0.00 mW in the peak to peak mode. On the scanning con-focal interferometer (2 GHz FSR, 10 MHz resolution) it is pure SLM from 100 mW to over 200 mW. Once the laser stabilizes the peak position is quite stable also. This is a nice laser for holography or serious science. This is a small head; the same size as 20 mW Sapphire LP lasers…amazing Coherent magic. This system includes:

Coherent Sapphire MP 480-300 laser head with fewer than 750 operating hours
Coherent Sapphire 100/200 heat sink with fan (new)
Custom made acrylic controller case with black base and clear top
New DC power supply
Coherent Sapphire Manual (new)
30 day test period to return
Free shipping to the USA; actual cost overseas if export is allowed.

We are asking $10K for this laser as above but will gladly consider serious offers. 8-)

Hi Phil ! i Can only agree wilh you guys. This is the best blue laser on the maket today (IMO) ! super long coherents and very stable.

This laser is still available with low hours and 200 mW+ SLM blue output. We will consider serious offers lower than the asking price. Phil, 142laser (813) 974-2378

Hi,
This laser is still available and I will lower the asking price to $7K. So who wants 200 mW @ 479.5 nm SLM? The laser will actually outoput near 300 mW at full power; I just quote 200 mW to be safe. This is a complete, ready to use system with heat sink and DC supply; plug it in and start making holograms 5 minutes later. Phil, (813) 974-2378 at work, pbergero@usf<dot>edu 8-)

This laser is still available; make us a serious offer North of $6K please. At full current near 300 mW is possible but I am being conservative saying 200 mW. Best, Phil (813) 974-2378 at the lab

Actually I have two of these heads...480 nm, TEM 00, single frequency, >200 mW. I am looking for reasonable offers. I can configure with an OEM controller or a CDRH lab controller. 8-) Phil
