Hello, I am a student and recently started learning about holography. I am looking
for a reasonably priced laser for DCG and silver halide. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know.

I have several blue (488nm) Coherent Sapphire laser heads for sale.

I have three brand new Coherent Sapphire LP 488-20 laser heads. They can do upto 22mW max. That's enough to get started, equivalent to 60mW of green light or so. I have the controllers available too, so I can sell you a complete system.

I also have a Coherent Sapphire 488-200 laser head with 247 hours on it (low!) (220mW max), equivalent to 600mW of green light or so. Just the laser head though. Can help you find a controller for it.

For silver halide you'll probably want a separate red laser.

Sam and I have green lasers for holography from 10 mW to over 100 mW. The Coherent 215M I have doing 30 mW is plug and lase ready to use. $700 plus shipping. We have Helium Neon 633 nm red lasers for holography from 5 mW to 40 mW. All the single frequency lasers we sell are interferometer tested. No bad lasers! Phil and Sam (Sam's Laser FAQ)
