Hi,
I just finished this 315M build for a holographer and thought someone here might like to order the next one; we have a few more new Coherent heat sinks and Vicor power supplies. Pure SLM, quiet and stable. These lasers are $2K with a 90 day exchange warranty ready to shoot holograms out of the box. Phil (813) 974-2378 or pbergero@usf<dot>edu 8-)

Looks great. Just one recommendation. Please drill holes (clear or 1/4-20) on 1" centers on your bases so they can be bolted to optical tables with a minimum of components. Otherwise, mounting is a PITA. ;)

If anyone who is considering buying a laser from Phil I would like to say do it.
I bought two lasers from him and was the best thing I could have done.
It's been several years now and he (and Sam) still support me.

I've have been looking into possible mode hopping on one of my lasers and Phil and sam have been great. I am even barrowing a SFPI with tons of support and help.

I don't get paid or kick backs (although I am open to it Phil ;) )

If you need a laser Phil is your man!

Thanks Tony. Free SFPI rent will have to do for now. :) Happy Thanksgiving early! Best, Phil

I second everything said by Tony above! There is no better source of surplus lasers than Phil & Sam. I just wish they reprocessed Coherent ion lasers.

Hi Bob,
Phil Fostini at Evergreen does a good job on Coherent Argons; we even got a couple years out of a Spectra Physics 2020 he re-processed for USF. Tell them Phil and Sam sent you and they will increase the price. :)

Seriously thanks for the kind words. Best.

The last one I got from them lasted 120 hours. The one I'm using now is down >30% after about 200 hours. Both are UV Coherent 305C. Don't know that Laser Innovations would be any better. UV is tough on medium sized lasers.

Does the $2000 include the laser and power controller ( whole system) ?

Hi Julian,
Yes the tested laser, cable, controller, dongle all mounted ready to use, new heat sink, Vicor brand "flatpack" DC supply plug and lase; just as shown in the pictures. Sam Goldwasser and I sell these together and he has tested them and if needed adjusted them; then I test them again before I ship. A 90 day exchange or money back warranty is standard and included and we can upgrade the warranty to one year for $500 if anyone is interested; that is like "laser insurance". I just shipped one of these for about $40 to a holographer in the USA but shipping/duties overseas would be expensive and I can't fix that. Best, Phil

Hi,
If anyone wants a 100 mW or 150 mW 315M green laser professionally built on a nice heat sink platform that bolts down to an optical table and is ready to use out of the box I just got another heat sink ready and we have lasers tested and ready to mount. The 315M lasers are all tested by lasersam to have healthy diodes and a clean output spectrum; then I re-test everything after mounting. There is a reason we have never had one 315M laser come back bad. :)
