Merry Christmas!

Sam and I have our first Coherent Sapphire 488-500 laser system to offer. We have sold two 488-200 lasers for holography a couple years ago but this is the first 500 mW system I have tested. The laser seems to run single frequency al any power between 250 and 450 mW. When I set it at p=500 it outputs ~550 mW but started to lase on a weak second longitudinal mode. I recommend around 350 mW as a reasonable setting. The head reads under 5400 hours with a 10K-20K projected lifetime, 15K-17K hours typical. We are asking $8,500 for this laser but serious offers are welcome. Best, Phil pbergero@usf<dot>edu 8-)

This laser is ready to ship. Who needs 300+ mW of SLM 488 nm light? Make us a serious offer and make this your laser. Phil ;)

'Tis a beauty, isn't it? Well outside my hobbyist budget, of course, but I can dream.

I agree the laser is more expensive than most folks want to spend on a laser for holography but for large plates having the power would be really nice. :) We are looking for reasonable offers. Best, Phil

This nice 350-400 mW SLM 488 nm laser is still available. We are looking for reasonable offers. This laser is ready to make holograms...right now! :) Send me a message or call me at the lab...(813) 974-2378 Phil

PS The laser outputs >500 mW but can lose SLM over 400 mW so keeping it to say 350 mW is a good idea for holography.
